Adding funds
How do I add money to my wallet?
Tap + at the top of the home screen.
- Coinbase: pay with Google Pay and a US debit card. USDC arrives in your wallet on Base, usually within a few minutes.
- MoonPay: buy with a card on MoonPay's site.
- From an exchange or another wallet: send ETH, cbBTC or USDC to your SwapWidget address and pick Base as the network.
Who processes my payment?
Coinbase (or MoonPay) takes the payment and sends the USDC straight to your own wallet. SwapWidget never receives or holds your payment. Card charges and refunds are handled by the provider under its own terms.
My USDC hasn't arrived
Most purchases arrive within a few minutes. The Add funds screen shows the order's status while it's open.
Still nothing after 30 minutes? Contact Coinbase support about the card charge, and email us the time and amount so we can help track it. If Coinbase can't deliver, it refunds your card.
How much can I add?
Coinbase sets the limits: a $5 minimum, and new buyers can add up to $500 a week. Coinbase may raise the limit after a short check. Coinbase checkout is available in the US only.
Swaps and fees
What does a swap cost?
SwapWidget takes 0.15% of each swap, 0x (the swap service behind every trade) takes about 0.15%, and the Base network fee is a few cents in ETH. The swap screen shows each fee before you confirm.
My swap failed
The most common reason is too little ETH for the network fee. Keep a little ETH in your wallet (a dollar or two is plenty). Prices can also move while a swap is being prepared; just try again.
A swap that fails doesn't move your coins, though one that fails on the network can still use a few cents of fee.
Stop-losses and alerts
Why didn't my stop-loss sell?
Your phone signs every trade, so it has to be online and you need to be signed in when the stop is hit.
- Phone off or offline: nothing trades, and that stop is used up. Set it again.
- An alert that arrives more than 2 minutes late is skipped, so a stop can't sell long after it fired.
- Not enough ETH for the network fee: the swap can't be sent.
I'm not getting alerts
Allow notifications for SwapWidget in your phone's settings, and turn off battery optimization for the app so Android doesn't put it to sleep.
Your wallet
Who holds my keys?
You do. You sign in with Google, and Privy, a wallet provider, sets up your wallet with no seed phrase. SwapWidget never holds your key, and you can send your coins to any wallet at any time.
I got a new phone or reinstalled the app
Sign in with the same Google account you used before, and your wallet comes back with it.
How do I delete my data?
Email us from the address you signed in with and we'll delete what we store about you. The Privacy Policy lists what that is. Coins in your wallet stay yours; move them out first if you plan to stop using the app.
Pro
How do I cancel or manage Pro?
Pro is billed through Google Play. Open the Play Store, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Refunds follow Google Play's policy.
